Circa 1900 German Workshop Magginni Copy

While we see many German Strad, Amati, and Guarneri copies, we only see a few Magginni's per year. 

This particular one is in fantastic shape, with no evidence of any major repairs and no cracks. The neck, back, and sides boast some beautifully flamed maple. 

The sound is bright, focused, and open; with lot's of headroom. This violin is extremely light in weight, making it very responsive. 

It is currently set up more as a fiddle, with a Wittner fine tuning tailpiece and Helicore strings.
