Instrument Petting Zoos As part of Music Heritage Day 2007, Acoustic Corner launched its first Instrument Petting Zoo. The IPZ is now a regular part of the Kids Village at the LEAF festival, and may soon be making the rounds at local schools and institutions. The Zoo is a wonderful way to expose children, adults, and the musically shy to playing music, by creating an environment where it's 'ok' to pick up instrument and give it a try. It promotes the store and our instruction program, too. Here's our growing collection of zoo shots. |
